Every so often, a note arrives that says it better than we can. This one came from a family we were honored to support during their mom’s cancer treatment:
“…knowing there were people in our corner who truly cared gave us one less thing to worry about while we focused on my mom and her healing.”
A family Team Chad supported
One less thing to worry about
Cancer treatment asks everything of a family: time, energy, attention, hope. And while treatment goes on, the bills keep coming. Rent, the mortgage, the electric bill. For many families, that financial pressure becomes one more weight to carry at the hardest possible moment.
That’s the weight Team Chad tries to lift. Through our Patient Assistance Program, we help people receiving cancer treatment in Tennessee with housing and utility costs, so families can focus on treatment, on healing, and on each other. Behind every note is a community
Behind every note like this one is a community of people who care: volunteers, neighbors, supporters, and friends who show up for families facing cancer. However you’ve been part of it, thank you. You are the people in their corner.
Be in a family’s corner every month
Cancer bills come every month, and so does The Home Team. A monthly gift helps local families keep a roof overhead and the lights on, so they can focus on healing. Know someone going through treatment in the Nashville area? You can also request a Comfort Basket for them.
