A little comfort for the long days of treatment, from your community.
A reminder that they're not alone
When someone you love is going through cancer treatment, it’s hard to know what to say or do. A Team Chad Comfort Basket says it for you: we’re with you.
No two baskets are alike. We build each one around the person receiving it, with practical, thoughtful things to make treatment days and the hours at home a little easier, so they can rest and spend time with family.
What's inside
When you request a basket, you tell us a little about your loved one, and we fill it with things picked just for them. A basket might include:
- Something cozy: a soft, high-quality throw blanket, cozy socks, or a heatable Warmies plush
- A night off from cooking: a DoorDash gift card
- Treatment-day comforts: a soothing healing balm, ginger lozenges for an upset stomach, or a pillow for long infusions and car rides
- Something just for them: a book about a favorite place or band, a family game for a night in, or a small keepsake
Every basket comes with a note from the Team Chad family.
How to request a basket
- Fill out the short request form. It takes about 3 minutes. Family members, friends, coworkers, and hospital social workers can all request a basket.
- Tell us about your loved one. What they love, who’s at home with them, what would make them smile. That’s how we make each basket personal.
- We’ll deliver it. We drop off or mail every basket within 2–3 weeks of your request.
Who can receive a basket: Anyone in the Nashville area who is going through cancer treatment. There’s no cost to you or your loved one.

Every Comfort Basket is made possible by people like you. Each one averages $250–$350.
- $300 fills a Comfort Basket for one person
- $50 gives a family a night off from cooking
- Any amount goes toward the next basket
Shop our wish list. Pick an item from our Amazon wish list and it ships straight to us.
Donate items another way. New items are always welcome. Gift cards can be mailed to Team Chad, P.O. Box 4055, Brentwood, TN 37024. For other items, email hello@teamchad.us and we’ll arrange drop-off.
Host a basket drive with your office, school, church, or team. Email hello@teamchad.us and we’ll help you get started.
Partner with us. Businesses can sponsor Comfort Baskets or donate products to fill them, from cozy blankets and self-care items to gift cards and treats. Every partner gift includes a note so recipients know who helped make their day a little brighter. Email us to talk about a partnership.
